20^th of August is Hungary’s biggest national holiday.

Traditionnaly there is a long and beautiful firework-show above the Danube and the Buda hills.

This year we celebrate differently. While having a lovely evening together, celebrating the start up of ODWS, and the 20th of August, you can also join a very important local cause.

2010 was a challenging year for Hungary so far, we had seriuos flood on the North of the country. The government decided to decrease the national celebration spending and to give a big amount of the event expenditure to the aggrieved villages.

The OD World Summit would like to support this initiative to be able to rebuild lives of thousands up in the North. Therefore 50% of the net income of the Sponsor Tickets (covering the entrance fee of 1 person) of 20th August ODWS celebration goes to RedCross who will make sure it gets delivered to the aggrieved villages.
